A free app that works out what size of hockey equipment fits a player, using each manufacturer's own published size chart. On Google Play for Android, and in the browser on anything else.
Sizes vary a great deal from brand to brand. The same body measurement lands on a different size depending on which brand you are buying. Enter your measurements in the app and get the suggested size from all of them at once.
The full published tables, the same data the app uses. Each page states where the numbers came from and when they were checked.
Most size charts online are copied from a retailer and never checked again. Numbers drift, rows get merged, and a size quietly stops being offered. Every table here was read from the manufacturer's own chart, and each one records its source and the date.
Where a manufacturer publishes no chart for a piece of equipment, it is left out rather than filled with a guess. That is why some brands below cover six parts and others cover three.
The app is free and always will be. Verifying five brands against their own catalogues took a while, and keeping it current takes more. If it saved you from buying the wrong size, a tip is welcome. It is a tip and not a purchase: it buys nothing in return, unlocks nothing, and the app is the same either way.
Beyond the tables: it keeps the gear a player already owns, warns when a piece is getting too small based on how they have grown, and gives skate runner lengths in millimetres, which matters when buying second hand. It speaks English, Swedish, Norwegian, German, Czech, Finnish, Italian and Canadian French.
Everything stays on the phone. No account, no upload.
